Ann's Obituary

Ann Higgins, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026 at home in Union, Missouri.Born to Samuel and Elsie Taylor of Jefferson City, Missouri, Ann was a woman of deep faith, strength, and unwavering love for her family. A devoted Christian, she lived her life as a testament to her beliefs, generously sharing her faith and kindness with all who knew her.Ann was a longtime and dedicated member of the Order of Eastern Star, where she formed lasting friendships and served her community with compassion and grace.She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Higgins; her daughter, Debbie Johnson; and her granddaughter, Lauren Windsor.Ann leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Nick (Michelle) Higgins, Ralph “Duke” Higgins, Mike (Peggy) Higgins, Diana Greenway, Lori (Buddy) Kindermann, and Lana Rosselli. She was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren, a cherished great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren, and a joyful great-great-grandmother to one great-great-grandson. Ann will be remembered for her strength, her faith, and the deep love she had for her family. Her life touched many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Services: Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home - Eureka, 108 N. Central Avenue, Monday, April 6, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
