Not sure what to say?

I just found out the very sad news of the passing of my dear friend, Anne. I worked with Anne and Bob at ACES on Dixwell Ave., Hamden, many years ago (mid-late 1970s). Anne was so sweet, bright, always good at her job, and knew how to be a good friend. She and Bob seemed to have a wonderful marriage, and I'm sure their progeny are good people!
My heart will be heavy for a while now, but memories of Anne's lovely smile and contagious laughter will eventually make things good again.

I was an aide at atria for 5 yrs. Let there a yr ago but still went back to visit. I just adored Ann the last day I saw her was Aug 18,2021. We were leaving on vac and we talked for a bit Ann & I. She touched my heart. I took a pic of the heart quilt hanging in her room .when she fell and broke her arm grabbing a book I almost died laughing we both did. She was super smart super sweet and I will truly miss her. And she adored her grandson. Tlk about him a lot. I am so sorry for your loss .

Ann was a delight to know! Her high school sisters and close friends will miss her infectious smile! Love and prayers to her family, Alberta Davis, SHA’64

Ann and I were the best of friends. She was the first person I met when I moved into ATRIA senior living. She was wearing her helmet at the time which we had many laughs together over because I was wearing my head wrap with wires sticking out of my head.
We shared MANY happy, as well as sad times. We always made it through all those times because we had such a great friendship.
The staff and residence here gave us a Knick name that I will never forget. We were known as Thelma...

Ann was a very dear friend during our years at SHA and beyond. We started our day with fun on the school bus for years. She will be missed. She and Bobby were a wonderful couple.

Back more than a few years ago in the CTHSS, Annie was one of those few genuinely intelligent, talented and educationally dedicated ladies I was fortunate to work with. She had all the answers at her fingertips, understood the landscape, but most of all had a vision for the horizon. Annie could graph outcomes with a smile and a few words of advice that always rang true. God only knows how many times I needed those. This is sad news and I offer my simple prayers and condolence to Ann's family....

I went to Sacred Heart Academy with Ann. Saw her every day for four years, and then never again crossed paths. As a teen, she was soft-spoken, sweet and kind, with an impish sense of humor. My sympathy to all those who loved her.

Ann was so full of joy, a friend to all of us at SHA. What wonderful memories she helped make! God surely welcomed her with open arms. Rest In Peace, lovely Ann.

Dear Michelle, My deepest condolences to you and your family. Your Mom was a beautiful person. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Laurelyn
