Anna and her family always made me feel like I was welcomed and part of the family! That is something you never forget. And even as my family grew, we all became part of the tapestry at the Somerville home and Anna was always there, with food and a smile and anything we needed. We will miss you lots Auntie Anna!

Anna DePari, 93 years old. Daughter of the late Ester (Squeglia) and Peter DePari of Caserta, Province of Campania in Southern Italy. Sister to the late Mary C O'Leary, and Joesph DePari, aunt to Karen and Joesph DePari of Billerica , Mary O'Leary-Medina and Patricia O'Leary of Somerville, great aunt to Branden, Carly and Andrew Williamson of Chelmsford. Life long girlfriend to the late John Scafidi of Somerville.Anna had worked for John Hancock for over 40 years, in her early retirement days she enjoyed spending her time Volunteering at both Catholic Charities and Somerville Hospital, also she adored helping to care for her great niece and nephews when they were infants. Anna was generous and selfless to all that new her and she generously gave to many charities. Visiting hours in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powderhouse Sq.) Somerville, Tuesday morning 10:00 - 11:00. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Anna's name to St. Jude Hospital or Feed the Children,two of her favorite charities
