With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life and legacy of Enongene Anna Ntube Epse Ewang, affectionately known as Mah Anna. Born on November 22, 1959, in Ndoungué, Cameroon, alongside her beloved twin brother, Enongene John Alobwede, Mah Anna was the cherished daughter of the late Enongene Bwede Paul and Senge Rosaline of Ngomin Village.
Mah Anna’s life was defined by service, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her educational journey began in Lowe and continued through Catholic School, Tombel, and Primary School, Nyasoso, where she proudly earned her First School Leaving Certificate. Answering a heartfelt calling to care for others, she pursued nursing at the Medical School in Shishong, Bamenda, and further refined her skills at the Presbyterian Hospital in Manyemen.
On September 1, 1994, Mah Anna began her official nursing career at Polyclinic Bonanjo, where she served faithfully and selflessly for more than two decades. Known for her calm demeanor, gentle spirit, and tireless dedication, she touched countless lives through her work. She retired honorably on August 31, 2017, and later relocated to the United States, carrying with her the same spirit of service and love that defined her life.
A devoted Christian, Mah Anna’s faith was the cornerstone of her existence. It guided her actions, shaped her character, and inspired her compassion. She was peaceful, kind, and understanding—always ready to help, always extending grace. Her life reflected the love of Christ in both word and deed.
After a courageous battle with gallbladder cancer, Mah Anna peacefully transitioned on December 31, 2025, in the United States, at the age of 66. Surrounded by loved ones, she faced her journey with remarkable strength, dignity, and unwavering faith.
Mah Anna leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to flourish through her family and all whose lives she touched. She is survived by her seven beloved children: Esone Rose, Soh Senge, Kobe Bille, Munge Grace, Mesame Sharon, Ekane Steve, and Esombe Wilson.
She also leaves to cherish her memory sixteen treasured grandchildren: Wendy, Cherry, Sone, Elisha, Eliel, Dan, Khloe, Kadmiel, Hope, Larry, Victory, Henry, Arsel, Cyndi, Braydon, and Stevia.
Mah Anna is fondly remembered by her siblings: her brothers, Pa Nkwelle and Pa Alom, and her sisters, Mama Nzelle and Sister Helen, along with a host of relatives, friends, colleagues, and loved ones across the world.
Though she is no longer with us in the physical sense, Mah Anna’s spirit, faith, and love will forever remain in our hearts. Her life was a testament to service, grace, and compassion—and her memory will continue to be a guiding light for generations to come.
