I have known Anna since we were in 7th grade at Chestnut Street Junior High School in Wilmington, NC. She always had a joyful spirit and a smile on her face. More recently, I've become friends with her sister Gener. They have had a very close, loving bond along with Anna's daughter Genie. That smile, her infectious laughter and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.
