So sorry of the loss of anne. We are thinking of our family in this time of sorrow and pray for comfort in knowing she had a long prosprous life and left behind a love within her families heart that will never die.

I will miss you, and remember with great fondness all of our times together. My sincerest condolences to all the family

Anne's Obituary

ABOUD, ANNE ELIZABETH SULLIVAN, 88, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at Baptist East Hospital. Born in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, she was the former Anne Sullivan. She worked at U of L as an administrative assistant in the Financial Aid office and was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Philip J. Aboud; a brother, Dr. Joseph E. Sullivan; and her former husband, Fred G. Aboud Anne is survived by her sons, George F. and James M. Aboud, of Louisville and Louis J. Aboud, of Washington, D.C.; daughters, Mary Jane Aboud (James Brown) and Kathryn A. Garrity (Gary), of Louisville; brother, Dr. John B. Sullivan, of Ontario; four grandchildren, Jeff Garrity (Terri), Greg Garrity (Janet), Evan Burch (Ashly) and Samuel Aboud; and two great-granddaughters, Riley and Presley Garrity. Her Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at St. Raphael, 2141 Lancashire Ave. with burial in Calvary Cemetery to follow. Visitation for Anne will be on Monday from 2-8 p.m. at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
