Annette Irene Nichols

Annette Irene Nichols (nee Bejester), age 67, of Kerrville, Texas, formerly of Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025.  Annette was born January 6th, 1958 in Dearborn, Michigan. She graduated from Saint Mary’s Academy in Monroe, Michigan. She worked as an Information Operator for AT&T for 17 years. She had perfect attendance and was a First Class Operator, an achievement she was proud of. She took a buy-out in 1995. In 1981 she married her childhood sweetheart Gibson Nichols. They were married 44 years. Annette enjoyed playing a paint game on her cell phone, spending time with her dog Roo, watching the Voice and the View TV shows. She would go for long rides in the Hill Country whenever possible. She was a people person. She made friends easily and had deep friendships. Annette was survived by her husband Gibson; Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law George and Mary Vollman of Lansing, Michigan and their children Katherine Catanese, Nicholas Vollman, and Donald Vollman; Her brother-in-law Arthur Nichols and his children Eric Nichols (Jessica) and Natalie Nichols Lucini (Rich); Her fifteen great nieces and nephews, and a close group of cousins including Charles Gilbert, Sandra Bejster and Joseph Bejster. Annette was proceeded in death by her parents Ruby and Joseph Bejester; Her aunt Irene (Roy) Wiley of Columbia, Missouri and their daughter Elizabeth (Bethann Willey) Sherwood Hardt. She can now focus on her glorious reunion with her parents. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 4th, from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00pm at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 22546 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, MI 48124. A procession and committal prayers will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, MI.
