Annie Collins,84 of Gary, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, after a brief illness. She was the 5th child of 6 children. Born to Cleve and Sallie Crump in Baldwin, Mississippi.
She was a homemaker happily caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Annie had a nurturing spirit; she guided her children and grandchildren through faith with the love of Jesus and serving in church. A total of 10 altogether.
She was a devoted member of New Revelation Baptist Church for 49 years. A faithful member of Deborah Circle for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Cleve and Sallie Crump, stepfather, Franklin Tucker, brother, Lee Crump, grandson, Kevin Roberts, grandson, Damien Roberts, granddaughter, Shaffaye Roberts.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories with her devoted husband of 49 years, Jimmie Collins Jr., siblings, Mable Gooch, Clyde (Georgia) Crump, Retired Master Sgt.
