ANTHONY BAVONE

 

“Loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle & Friend”

 

Anthony Bavone passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2019 in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was the beloved widow of Sally A. (Costa) Bavone.

 

Anthony was born March 27, 1943 in Waterbury, the son of the late Frank & Rose (Petino) Bavone. He was educated in Watertown Schools. Prior to his retirement, Anthony was a foreman at Rafferty Brown/Coil Plus.  He loved the NY Yankees, UCONN basketball, set-back, fishing, coffee with friends, and most of all, watching his grandsons play all of their sports and athletic activities. Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Oakville, CT. 

 

He leaves behind his daughter, Cheryl Marie and her significant other, Timothy Graham, grandsons, Cory M. Lagasse and Kyle M. Lagasse, his brother John Bavone, sister and brother-in- law Virginia and Louis Scozzafava and his sister-in-law Donna and brother-in-law Louis Cipriano. He will be missed by his many cousins, nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

 

Arrangements: A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury is assisting his family with arrangements.
