Anthony Harris of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on August 17, 2025 at his residence. He was born August 17, 1952, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Anthony was proceeded in death by his parents; Howard Harris and Willie Mae Harris and grandparents; Willie Luella Jackson and David (Annie) Whitfield, his brother; Bruce Harris and Sister; Annette Harris.
He attended Pontiac schools. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member at Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of pastor Coley M. Gracey.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children; Anthony Harris Jr., Daniel Nelson, Antione Abraham-Harris, his siblings; Karl (Gwen) Harris, Ellen Harris and Darnell (Shirley) Harris, his grandchildren; Jordan Harris, Jadaijah Coleman, S’anya Vinning, Christian Harris, D’ajahnique McClellan-Nelson, Dijoun McClellan-Nelson, London Nelson, Ameer Harris, Ayden Harris and 2 great-grandchildren; Cali Coleman, Dajour Amir Myles. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Anthony will lie in repose on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 4:00pm.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church 474 University Dr. Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will start promptly at 11:00am.
