Oscar introduced me to SCCA racing around 1960 when he was working with his father at Scranton Hobby We continued our relationship thru SCCA racing and officiating thru 2004. I would anxiously wait to talk to Oscar at the track, WAITA MINUTE I mean to listen to him talk. Many memories at race tracks not now in existence Marlboro, Berwick and more with Bud Faust, Dan Wilcox and others. A big loss not only to his family, but also to a sport he loved...

I will go way back to the mid and late forty's when I grew up in Clarks Summit. Oscar was a good friend as we both flew model airplanes and were members of the Scranton Model Airplane Club. His Dad, Tony owned the Scranton Hobby Center and also ran our contest at the old scranton airport in Schultzville and Daleville, etc. So sorry to learn of his passing.
He was always kind to everyone and always offered a helping hand to all modelers. Condolences to his family.

To the Family of Oscar Koveleski, I want to express my deep sympathy to Oscar's family for his passing. I worked for Oscar at Auto World from 1971-76 and he was the best boss anyone could ever have!! We had a lot of fun and the people there were great to work with. I have so many good memories of that place, we were like one big family!! Hoping you all find peace in knowing a good man like Oscar is surely in good hands!!! May he Rest in Peace.
