Anthony's Obituary

Anthony Louis Uliano, “Tony”, 75, of Cromwell, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Tony, a man who always sought to have a good time, was predeceased by his beloved wife, Susan Uliano.

Born on February 7, 1949, in Hartford, Tony was the son of the late Anthony and Esther (Fargnoli) Uliano. He spent most of his life in Hartford County and retired from Allen S. Goodman in East Hartford. Tony proudly served in the United States Marines and was honorably discharged. He was also a dedicated member of the Teamsters with the Local 671. Tony found immense joy in his cats, vacationing with friends, listening to loud music, and spending time with his family. He cherished the moments when friends and family gathered around his kitchen table, sharing laughter, drinks, and good times.

Tony is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Elizabeth Uliano of Cromwell, his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Brian Gibson of AZ, and his stepson and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Autumn Struk of Wethersfield. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Tony is also survived by his sister, Frederica Heslin of Bethel, three nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and many friends. He leaves behind a special friend, Grace Corbin, who was dear to his heart.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, October 26, from 12-2 p.m. at Brooklawn Funeral Home, located at 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, CT. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Tony’s honor to the Connecticut Humane Society at 701 Russel Road, Newington, CT 06111.
