The best thing about heaven is, In heaven there are no more tears or pain. It has to be the best of places to be.

If possible I bet Mark ,Jim and Aaron were waiting for you. I still loved you no matter what-----Was your mom for around 50 years and have some great memories.More good than bad.We use to get in the car and go where we knew not where . If possible we will meet again one day.Sure wish we could of talked again. Later

April's Obituary

April Lynn Diamond of Clio, age 71, died Saturday October 11, 2025 at her sister’s residence with her family by her side. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025 at 5:00pm at Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating with private burial at a later date at Montrose Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1:00pm until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

April was born on April 1, 1954 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of the late Maxwell and Virginia (Ackerman) Lemcool and resided in the Millington and Clio areas for many years. She was joined in marriage to Mark Diamond on October 15, 1977 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2023. April was known for her exceptional spirit and her ability to turn any occasion into a celebration, especially her summer parties.  She also enjoyed doing nails for friends and family. You could also find her on stage singing karaoke and when she wasn’t singing you could find her on her computer playing games.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her siblings: Thelma Nations, John (Renee) Lemcool, Marsha Williams, Gloria (Jerry) Teeple, Beverly (Steve) Williams, Connie (Dana) McBride, Mark (Linda) Lemcool; brothers in law: Carl Sherman, and Don Harris; sister in law: Diane Lemcool; many nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends; best friends Pete and Judy. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Max Lemcool, Karen Harris, Raeann Sherman, and Cliff Lemcool. Please share your condolences at www.HansenFuneralHome.net
