April's Obituary

April Little Woods, age 46, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Born on May 1, 1979, in Charleston, Mississippi, April was the beloved daughter of Roger Little and the late Rita Pearson Fillyaw.

Above all, she treasured time spent with her family. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, relaxing at the beach when she was able, and spending time with her beloved dog, Oakley.

April is survived by her loving father, Roger Little, two sisters, Rhonda Little of Charleston, Mississippi, and Michelle Little of Charleston, Mississippi, and three brothers, Joseph Smith (Amy) of Charleston, Mississippi, Caine Little of Cleveland, Mississippi, and Zachary Little of Charleston, Mississippi.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rita Pearson Fillyaw.
