Arlene Borkholder

Arlene M. Borkholder of Nappanee, age 52 years 6 months 28 days, after a short illness, passed away peacefully at 9:30 pm, October 24, 2024 at her residence.   She was born March 26, 1972 to Mose M. and Etta Marie (Miller) Miller.   She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  On May 27, 1991, she married Lavon Jay Borkholder.  To this union were born 4 children, Gary (Edna) Borkholder, Nappanee, Gerald (Ida) Borkholder, Nappanee, Arlen Borkholder at home, Nadine (Titus) Bontrager, White Pigeon, MI; 8 grandchildren; mother, Etta Marie (Howard) Miller, Ligonier and siblings, Leona (Ray) Hochstetler, Nappanee, Daniel (Judy) Miller, Nappanee, Ruby (Thomas) Borkholder, Bremen, and David (special friend, Charla) Miller, Scottsdale, AZ.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavon; father, Mose Miller; stillborn brother, Raymond Miller; father-in-law, Eli Borkholder; and brother-in-law, Darrell Borkholder. Family and friends may call after 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 26, 2024 and all-day Sunday, October 27th at the family residence, 492 US 6.  Funeral service will be at 9:30 am, Monday, October 28th also at the family residence.  Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Borkholder Cemetery.
