Arlene Ruth Fields

I’m sorry to hear of Arlene’s passing but know Jesus was there to welcome her with open arms. She was one of my besties & we had a blast together attending so many events in the area! Most of all we enjoyed her hospitality, enjoying many dinner parties in her home especially during Covid as most restaurants were closed but Arlene didn’t let that stop her fun activities! We also attended First Baptist church in Kimberling City together being in the same classes together. She’ll be sorely...

During our years that we owned the funeral homes in Prairie City and Colfax, Arlene was frequently our go to for an organist. She was always willing to share her musical talent for a family in need. also we were frequent diners at her cafe to enjoy her always great food. Our sympathy to Gary and family.

It is getting harder and also extremely sad to continue to say these goodbyes to such precious classmates from Colfax, Iowa. Arlene was so sweet, kind and full of life..she constantly had a smile on her face to go along with her upbeat and vibrant personality! Please accept my heartfelt condolences on such an overwhelming loss. May her family find peace in the beautiful memories that she leaves behind-cherish each and every one. Rest in peace my friend.

We have so many great memories with Arlene, starting in childhood, So many of those memories reflect fun and laughter. Fast forward and we loved seeing Arlene and Gary at gospel music venues and enjoying a meal together. Our sympathies to you all. Ruth and Dennis DenHartog.
