Sympathy is extended to Arnie's family. Arnie was a part of the West End Grocery in his day. He will be missed by many.

 Arnold Jens Flint, son of Jens and Nettie (Larsen) Flint, was born September 22, 1938 near Graettinger, Iowa.  Arnie received his education in Palo Alto County.

Arnie worked road construction throughout the area for nearly 20 years. 

On December 9, 1973 Arnie and Madelene Olsen were united in marriage in Estherville, Iowa.

Arnie did yard care and various jobs near Emmetsburg, until his health would no longer allow him to work.  He will be remembered around Emmetsburg for all of the mowing and snow blowing that he did for businesses and individuals in town.

Arnie passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Lakeside Lutheran Home in Emmetsburg, Iowa at the age of 85.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jens and Nettie Flint;  brothers, Harvey in infancy, Donald Flint and Dale Flint; sisters, Clara Lentz, Helen Lentz, Alice Christensen, Dora Baedke and Annabelle Kinnetz.

He is survived by his children, Jesse, Gary, Harvey, Tammy, Sharon, Christine and Joe; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
