Arnola Irene Watkins

Arnola Irene Watkins, 77, of Darrouzett, Texas passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 in Perryton.  A funeral service will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Darrouzett, Texas.  Burial will be held in Darrouzett Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Arnola was born on August 24, 1948 in Vici, Oklahoma to Arnold Russel Bouydston and Stella Kanouse.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Darrouzett, Texas.  She married her husband, Harold Watkins, Jr. on December 3, 1966 in Buffalo, Oklahoma.

Arnola is survived by one daughter, Paula Gonzales of Booker, Texas; one son, Harold Lee Watkins of Darrouzett, Texas; two granddaughters, Samantha Mills of Booker, Texas and Heather Mills of Amarillo, Texas; two grandsons, Dallas Mills and Anthony Mills, both of Booker, Texas; ten great-grandsons, Caiden Frias, Javin Lewis, Joshua Lewis, King Lewis, Chase Lewis, Colby Mack, Kameron Mack, Cyrus Lewis, Jet Lewis and Harold Mills; two great-granddaughters, Kenthia Lewis and Khaleesi Mills; and one brother, Lester Bouydston.            

Arnola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter; Nola Ann Watkins; one great-granddaughter, Kono Mills; four sisters, Pasty Doston, Marva LaDou, Mary Lopshire, and Romah Fisk; and two brothers, William Kanouse and Merton Bouydston.

The family requests memorials be to First Baptist Church of Darrouzett, Texas.
