Not sure what to say?

Birgitta, I have such fond memories of you, and flying together. I am so sorry for your loss. I will make sure my Sister hears of your loss as well. All my best, Anne

Arthur was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Our prayers, love and sympathy are with A.J.’s family. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor of my parents, Sara and Bill Smith, in McDonough and was a very accomplished member of what has been called “The Greatest Generation”.

My Hero

A.J. was one of my heroes. He was the epitome of what a hero should represent. I thank the lord that I got to have him as a friend and one who knew my family well. I know Heaven couldn’t wait to have someone like him. God has blessed his wonderful family. His family are the Lights which he left to this world. Thank you AJ.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Beautiful life of Mr. A J Upchurch influenced all who knew him. His daughter, Angela, and our daughter were roommates at Mercer and became lifelong friends ! My own mother always said that a person’s success is in often measured by his or her children! A J will be sorely missed but has now received his greatest reward! Truly, the Lord said “welcome to my good and faithful servant” to A J Upchurch when he left this earth and entered heaven ! Prayers to all of his family in the days and weeks...
