Not sure what to say?

Dick and my dad were fraternity brothers at Dartmouth...they both left at the same time to enroll in Naval Aviation....both served in the Pacific..my dad reminded me when I came here for flight training, to look up "Dick Pace, an old frat brother"....two members of the "Greatest Generation"....

I will greatly miss this man who I admired so much. He was the personification of class and treated everyone he met with kindness. He exemplified loyalty, especially his fellow Navy Aviators. Rest In Peace Dick Pace and thank you for showing us how to live a rich and rewarding life.

Thank you for your service, God bless you and your wife together again . Never met but great admirer of military

Marcia and Ashley, sorry for your great loss. Our family’s have been connected for generations. My dear cousin Ann Gunn Lyon loved your mother her entire life. My parents enjoyed the times they spent together at the Riviera. My prayers are with you

I was fortunate to meet Mr. Pace in 1975 when I moved onto Blount St. and lived next door to his daughter. Mr. Pace was always such a gentleman and so involved with his family. He is someone I always admired. He set an example for all of us of how to live. Mr. Pace will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

Dick and crossed paths primarily through music and the Pensacola Yacht club. I got to hear his stories about growing up in Pensacola and musical instruction from Italian immigrant musician Mr. Marchese. Dick joined our Jazz Society of Pensacola as an early supporter. It was always my pleasure to be invited to join him and his brother at the special table for lunch at the Pensacola Yacht Club.

Since the Jazz Society had an office in the Brent Building, downtown, as did the Pace...

Dick was always so kind to me and my husband, Eric. I know Eric especially enjoyed their Navy and flying discussions. We will remember his bright smile and warm heart. He has his much-earned Naval aviator wings but now has his angel wings. We'll miss you, Dick. Sending love to our Pace family.
