Ashley Yacoub Hana

Ashley Yacoub Hana, daughter of Kathy and Kenneth Hensley of Watertown, TN, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2025 at the age of 35 years. Ashley is survived by her parents; her husband, Will Matthews; her children, Emily, Luke and Ana; sister, Mindy Tyree and three brothers, Jonathan Hensley, Ira and Bobby Chrisman. She was a 2008 graduate of Watertown High School and attended MTSU.

Ashley grew up reading Harry Potter, watching Star Wars and enjoyed photography. She loved animals and was the adoptive mother to a long procession of adorable cats. She loved to cook and tend to her garden. Over the last year she stayed home to care for her mother.  She will be missed by those of us who loved her so much.

A celebration of Ashley's life will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m.
