I loved my Aunt Virginia. She was my Dad's favorite sister and he often spoke of her with such love. I loved that she was so upbeat and genuine. My memories of visiting her as a little girl are ones that I will cherish always. I was blessed to have such a wonderful woman be a part of my life. My sympathies are with you my cousins during this sad time.

Assunta's Obituary
Assunta Susie Turzo passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 at her residence. She was 93.Born In Italy she was a Feasterville resident since 1953. Assunta was a Communicant of St. Christopher's Church who enjoyed her quiet time in the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. She was a member of St. Christopher's Senior Center with whom she enjoyed traveling with; she was also an avid cook and really loved going to the shore with her family.She was preceded in death by her husband James. Left to cherish her memory are her 3 children Lucille Sherman and her husband John of Feasterville, Frank Turzo of Feasterville and Vincent Turzo and his wife Angela of New Jersey. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren Lisa (Holden), Lesley Ann (Stephen), Matthew, Michael, Mark and Michelle and two great grandchildren Isabella and Connor.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am in St. Christopher's Church 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment will be private. Family and friends will be received on Thursday at the church from 9:30 am until time of the service. Contributions in Assunta's memory may be made to the American Heart Association 1617 John F Kennedy Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
