Mrs. Audrey Lena Spanhanks, age 79, of Fouke, Arkansas, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Spanhanks was born May 14, 1938, at Garvin, Oklahoma and had lived most of her life in Fouke. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hosea Spanhanks.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Spanhanks of Minnesota, Mike and Gaylyn Spanhanks of Fouke, Arkansas, Bobby Spanhanks of Fouke, Arkansas, and Larry and Twyla Spanhanks of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister, Louise Little of Houston, Texas, two brothers, Wayne Whisenhunt of Ashdown, Arkansas, and J. W. Whisenhunt of Nashville, Arkansas, five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P. M. Thursday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday.
The family will be at her residence in Fouke.
