Audrey Ione Stephens

July 12, 1929 - August 20, 2012. Audrey Stephens passed away in her home do to complications from a stroke. Audrey and her husband Bill moved to Jackson in 1969 and she worked in Amador County for many years as an Assistant Probation Officer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years William, three sons, Paul of Jackson and his wife Diana, Bill of Martinez and his wife Cindy, and Edward of Shannondoah Valley and his wife Cheryl. Audrey also had four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was born in Boone, Iowa to her parents Howard and Mertyl Bell Hughes, who preceed her in death, and had one brother an five sisters.
