AUSTIN 'BUDDY' GREEN BEASLEY, SR, of Slidell, LA, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.Beloved Husband of Ida Lee Tye Beasley for the past 58 years.Father of Austin G. Beasley,Jr.(Marty), Kenneth 'Kenny' O. Beasley(Cindy), Susie Beasley and Thomas 'Tommy' Beasley.Brother of Arthur Beasley, Jr. and the late Laura Sue SpenceAlso survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 nieces.Age 81 years, he was a retired Aircraft Inspector for Chevron.He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Korea.He was a 32 degree Mason and was a Shriner and a member of the Jersualem Temple and Sandford Lodge #443, Mississippi.He loved to hunt, fish and taking care of his pets.Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.Rev.
