Obituary

Austin's Obituary

Austin Jarrett Stokes, 20, passed away after a tragic accident on May 21, 2024.  The son of Freddy Wayne Stokes and Christy Ann (Turner) Stokes, Austin was born on November 11, 2003, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Austin was a 2023 graduate of Bridge Creek High School.  He also went to Mid-America Technology Center where he received training in diesel mechanic work. Austin was working at the Martinbird Tree Farm.  Austin had been very excited about an upcoming interview he had scheduled with the Plumbing Union.  His absolute favorite pastime was his dirt-bike.  He began racing dirt-bikes when he was just five years old and it has been his passion ever since.  Austin will be missed by all his family and those that knew him. 

Austin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lola Williams; grandfather, Doyle Fannon. He is survived by his parents, Fred and Christy Stokes of Blanchard; brother, Ryan Stokes and fiancé Alexis Stanfield of Blanchard; sisters, Stephanie Driskill of Oklahoma City, and Kaelan Stokes and fiancé DJ Shipp of Newcastle; niece Aralynn Husband of Moore; grandparents, Connie Fannon of Moore; James Turner and wife Kim of Newcastle; aunt, Roxanne Williams of Oklahoma City; uncle, Chad Turner and wife Angie of Mustang and many other family members and friends.  

There will be a time of viewing on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
