To The Gravello family , We are very sorry on the loss of your mother and grandmother . She was a great lady who I use to speak to when I use to visit my aunt at the nursing home .She was very comforting to my aunt who had lost her eyesight .My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad tIme . Avis's Obituary

Pawtucket – Avis P. (Nicholson) Gravello, 90, formerly of York Ave., passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Gravello. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Hann) Nicholson. Avis proudly served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She leaves her daughters, Patricia A. Angulo, Donna L. Stansfield and her husband, Michael and Sandra L. Tomellini and her husband, Sterling; six grandchildren and four great-granddaughters. She was the sister of the late Evelyn Zuba and Grace Giblin. VISITATION will begin Monday, May 18th at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Requiem Eucharist at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 50 Park Place, Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Scandinavian Retirement Center, 50 Warwick Ave., Cranston, RI 02905 would be appreciated. TRIPPFUNERALHOME.com
