I have endless memories from my childhood that include Ayla. From camping in each other’s backyards to camping on her grandparent’s property. The first time I ever made a homemade quesadilla was introduced to me by Ayla. We shared a deep connection over lame emo music and boys. She got me to join the swim team in 10th grade, which she later abandoned (hilariously). She was my best friend during the darkest years of my life. She had a smile that was truly infectious and I can picture every time I close my eyes. My childhood would have been so incomplete without you, Ayla. You were exactly what I needed and I’m sorry that as the years went on, I did not return the favor.
To her family - sending positive vibes as you are all in my heart during this time of mourning. I hope you find peace and comfort during this time.

Ayla was one of my closest friends. We shared a love for our Italian culture, cooking delicious dishes, being silly, but most of all, supporting each other whenever we needed it. Ayla was a beautiful person inside and out. Her family, friends, and Bobo are in my thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear of Ayla's passing. I remember her as a beautiful little girl who had a passion for life. I haven't seen Ayla in many years, but I was able to be around her as a small child and always enjoyed being around her and Jessica. Lots of prayers for the entire family but especially her mother Cori and sister Jessica. Rest in peace Ayla.
