Obituary

Balbina's Obituary

Dear wife of the late William S. Janik.

Loving mother of Janusz (Helen) Janik, Bogdan (Margaret) Janik, Elizabeth (Euzebiusz) Napierala.

Devoted grandmother of Robert (Krystyna) Janik, Renee (Jason) Hackney, Diane (Michael) Babynko, Sebastian (Maureen) Janik, Natalie Janik (Michael Jachym), Kathy (Przemek) Szewczyk, Alexis (Marcin) Szewczyk, Olivia Napierala, Colin Napierala.

Cherished great grandmother of Alex, Jake, Luke, Lilyana, Gabriela, Stefan, Joseph, Nicholas, Nolan, Rosalie, Emma, Julian.

She was second to the last child born to Andrzej and Jozefa (Wrobel) Gajewski in Hyżne, Poland.  One of ten siblings, she was sister to the late Maria, Tadeusz, Bronisława, Eugeniusz, Bolesław, Stanisława, Władysław, Krystyna and Wanda.  She was an avid cook and baker who enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and feeding her family.  She was the adored Busia of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved every minute spent with them and will be greatly missed.  Her passing has created a great family void which may never be filled; though, we are consoled by the knowledge that she now resides peacefully in the presence of our Lord.

Visitation Tuesday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles. Funeral Wednesday 10:15 AM  to St. John Brebeuf Church for 11:00 AM Mass. Interment Maryhill. Funeral Info 847-966-7302 or www.skajafuneralhomes.com
