I worked with Barbara in the toddler’s room at COTM 30 years ago when I was just a kid myself. She was and continues to be such a shining example of God’s love in my life, instructing with ceaseless grace and proving you don’t have to be the loudest in the room to make an impact. And oh, the laughter! So grateful to know she is learning directly from THE greatest teacher now . . . thank you, Barbara, see you soon ❤

I met Barbra and mom Alpha through Ruth. As my friend Ruth left for Bible college Barbra and mom Alpha filled the void. She became a comforter in my life. She supported me as a single mother spending many hours into the late evening with pep talks. She prayed with my girls & I, she glued broken clowns for my daughter, we baked cookies and had many post church breakfast together. A few weeks ago I talked with her on the phone and I couldn’t believe she remembered my maiden name. I know your at...

When you ask someone to pray for you, most people say they will, but not Barbara. She would hold my hand and pray to our Father in Heaven right there on her driveway! She was a true believer and not afraid to give God praise. She is now in Glory with our Father. I was blessed to have her as a neighbor.

I only knew Barb and Ed for a short time probably 15 years ago now. Barb was always very kind to me whenever I was at her house and that year she bought me the most beautiful bird teapot for Christmas, which I still have as a reminder of her kindness. I loved spending time at their home and getting to know everyone, everyone was very kind and welcoming.
