ANDERSON
Barbara Susan Anderson nee (Proctor) passed away October 4, 2025 of age of 83. Born on Monday February 2, 1942, in Sharonville, Ohio, Barbara attended Sharonville High School and later earned her GED; after which she was a longtime resident of Reading, Ohio. As a teenager, Barb worked at Jolly’s Drive in, where she served her customers on roller skates. Later on, she bartended at the Boulevard where she met the love of her life, Donnie. And she eventually retired from Continental Can where she was the first female machine operator.
She loved gardening and flower trading, gambling, board and card games, Yahtzee, Rod Stewart, and a fresh manicure: clear coat first, then color. Barb’s greatest joy and her proudest title was Grandma. From school clothes shopping and snapping green beans; sleepovers full of fudgesicles and Cops reruns; to creeping by her granddaughter’s boyfriend’s house when she was over for a date, she made sure to always be there. Every get together she always made sure there was a honey baked ham and a cookie jar full of treats to sneak to the grandkids. Puzzles and games were always on standby, with the Wii fired up for bowling. Gramma Barb shared her love of the Casino with all her grands; hollering “Momma needs a new pair of shoes!” with every bet.
Barb was radiant. She loved fiercely and gave selflessly. She led and loved her family immensely by her strength, resilience and stubbornness; and her contagious and healing laugh are already missed.
Adoring wife and soulmate of 39 years to the late Raymond “Donnie” Anderson; her brothers Jim (Linda) Proctor and Paul Proctor her daughters Sherri (Dan) Bish, Tracy Beaty (Dan Smith) and her son William “Billy” Wuebben. Brothers in Law Randy (Rhonda) Anderson, Kathy (the late Kenny) Anderson. Her grandchildren ,Shawna Curran, Ryan (Amanda) York, Jessica (Andrew) Carpenter, Jake (Hallie) Wuebben, Tyler (Megan) Beaty, Jackson Bish, Natalee Bish, Eric (Paige) Smith, Dana(David) Simon, Michael Wuebben and the late Andy Ramsey and Sarah Anderson; Great Grandmother of Morgan (Justin) Wagner, Alexandria (Josh) Scanlon, Victoria (Shae) Curran, Izzy, RJ, Kase, Marley, Bridgette, Myrissa, Hawken, Emmett, Barrett, Everly, Russell, Henry, Olivia; Great-Great Grandmother of Harper, Ophelia, Sheperd and one on the way Ryatt, well as many cousins, nieces, nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sollie and Georgia Rudell Proctor, her brothers Jake, Buddy and Butch; sisters Ruby and Martha.
