Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to learn about Mrs. Barden’s passing. I was one of her second grade students at Caroline Street School in 1966. I have often thought of her over the years as she was one of my favorite elementary school teachers. She fostered a love for reading and writing in me and I thought she was so beautiful. She made her students feel special.

My Deepest Sympathy Melissa to you and your family.
Remembering the many good times and laughter with you and Barb...
May she RIP

Barb was an amazing friend of mine for many years. We loved sitting at her kitchen table laughing and telling stories. As many will remember she loved to have her whimsical cottage decorated for each season. I had the pleasure of decorating her home under her direction many times. I can’t tell you how many recipe tips she gave me over the years and how we loved sharing the food that we prepared.
I will miss you my beautiful vivacious friend. I will keep your memory alive in my kitchen...

Barbara Barden and family. What an amazing family and life you had Barbara. I have come to know them very well and they surely will carry on the name with the same grace and honor you raised them with.

Also, thank you for the use of your farm for many years as a landing pad. Us Navy guys need the extra space when we get older.

God Bless

Barbara was my "partner in crime" as we found utter delight in the silliest of adventures. Her heart was huge and welcoming to all who knew her. I am confident we'll meet again, Barb; there's more fun to be had!

Bobbi was a true Christian and faithful follower of Jesus Christ. I am certain she is busy baking her goodies in Heaven for deceased family and friends. I share in your sadness as you remember her with precious memories and find peace knowing your Mother raised two amazing children. Her love is eternal and I will miss her. Her college "Roomie", Lorraine

I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara through my Uncle Lester "Skip" Weller. She was a joy and we spent time sharing life stories and recipes of course. She was a delightful and wonderful woman. I feel blessed to have had the privilege of meeting her. Say hi to Uncle Skip Barbara! You will be friends in a better place! Lee Ann.

Cousins Lois and Barbara

I knew Barbara as a cousin when we were growing up in Schuylerville, but when we re-connected several years ago, I learned to know her as a friend. Her laugh at all that deserved it, her love and compassion for all who needed it, spoke volumes about character. Her strength and spirit through physical trials inspired me daily.

I am sad for the Barden family but glad coach has his teammate back with him . Had coach at BH-BL in the late 60’s .
