Barbara Sue Blackburn

     Barbara Sue Blackburn, 77, of Belfry, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at her residence. Barbara was born April 20, 1948, to the late Olva Jr. Blackburn and Pauline Adkins Blackburn. Barbara is also preceded in death by  the love of her life and father of her children, Paul William Varney, her son, Ronald Bruce Varney, daughter-in-law, Dru Varney, brother, Tunis Darrell Blackburn and sister, Brenda Kay Blackburn. Barbara was a homemaker. When Barbara lived in Lexington, when she was able, she attended the Liberty Worship Center of Lexington, KY.      Barbara is survived by her children. Her twins, Mitchell Kevin (Taija) Varney of Decatur, IN, Michael Keith Varney of Huntington, IN, and Paul William (Um-Mi) Varney Jr of Plano, TX, her siblings, Stella Louise Blackburn of Silver Springs, FL, Eddie Dean Blackburn of Belfry, KY, and Larry Neal Blackburn of Calvert City, KY, her grandchildren, Trey Varney and Mia Varney of TX, and a host of loving family and friends.      The visitation will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM Tuesday, November, 4, 2025, at R. E.. Rogers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM  Wednesday, November, 5, 2025, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Danny Hamilton officiating. The burial will follow at Varney Family Cemetery, Kimper, KY, with Paul, Mitchell, Michael Varney, David Wilhelm, Dallas "Turtle" Dotson and Jordan Hackney, serving as pallbearers. R. E.
