Barbara M. Frederick

Ludlow- Barbara M. (MacGregor) Frederick, 88, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 24, 2026.  The daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Henderson) MacGregor, Barbara was born in Hartford, CT on December 9, 1937.  She was a graduate of Manchester High School in 1955, where she was a member of the softball, soccer, archery, and bowling teams.  Barbara worked in dispatch for the Brockway Transportation company, and later in life, she drove a shuttle for Glen Meadow, in Longmeadow, MA.  Barbara enjoyed traveling, trips to the casino, as well as knitting, crocheting, and quilting.  Sadly, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Leon T. Frederick, just 19 days prior to her passing.  She is survived by her sons, Kevin Finnerty and his wife, Karin, and Michael Finnerty and his wife, Olga, her brother, Robert MacGregor and his wife, Dawn, her grandchildren, Darell Finnerty and his wife, Alissa, and Michael and Stephanie Finnerty, her great-grandchildren, Hailey, Ryan, and Abbey, and her nieces, Barbette-Ann Warren and her husband, Nate Skinner, and Janice Warren and her wife, Susan Fullwood.  There will be no services for Barbara.  Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee, has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
