My mom was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She was loved beyond words & will be missed beyond measure. The loss of a mom is one of the greatest loss in life. My mom was beautiful inside and out.
She truly loved her family. My

Our prayers love and heartfelt condolences go out to my Cousins Lisa, Marlene, Denise, Dell and Aunt Millie and the rest of the family. Barbara Faye was extremely personable and was the life of the party. Funny indeed. She was private and protective. She truly cherished family. She was my first older First Cousin I hung around as a teen. I truly respected her and appreciated her. I will miss her candor and laughter. Little Jimmy

Barbara's Obituary

Barbara Faye Leith, affectionately known as Bobbie, was born on May 19, 1941, in Cordova, Alabama, to the late Willie Leith and Faye Hogan.  She peacefully gained her wings on January 16, 2026, at Trinity Health Hospital.  Also preceded in death by her Brother, Bennie Leith and Sister-in-law, Willie B. Leith.

She accepted Christ at an early age and carried her faith throughout her life.  Barbara attended Cordova Elementary School and graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1959.  Barbara work at Allison & Eaton.  Also her love for people was enough for 43 years at JL Hudson CO now “Macy’s”.

Barbara was an avid cook who found great joy in preparing meals for family and friends. She loved traveling, spending time outdoors doing yard work, and bird watching.  One of her greatest joys was attending the Dream Cruise, and she especially adored her beloved dog, Rocky.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving, devoted, and caring daughter, Lisa Woodard; two loving nieces, Marlene (Michael) Strode of Lansing, Michigan, and Denise (Aaron) Wright of Auburn Hills, Michigan; and her special, loving aunt, Millie Naylor.  She is also cherished by Dell Coleman; her extended daughter, Katrina Fields of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and three extended grandchildren, Katorey (Derrick) Shinault, Corey Ford, and Karrina (Torrez) Ellis.  She is further survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.

She will lie in repose on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home.  Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will promptly start at 10:30am.  Services will be shown thru Live Stream.

Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan, immediately after the service.
