Barbara Ann McBride

Barbara Ann McBride passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 83. She was born on August 16, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents Willie “Bob” Sampley Sr. and Freddie Collier Barnes, two brothers Donald Sampley and Joey Sampley and one sister Shirley Scroggins. Barbara is survived by her husband Robert McBride of Bartlett, Tennessee, one daughter Tara Lynne Brewer (Robert) of Oakland, Tennessee, two half-brothers Willie Sampley Jr. of West Memphis, Arkansas and Fletcher Sampley of West Memphis, Arkansas, four half-sisters Laquita Taylor of West Memphis, Arkansas, Debbie Aycock of West Memphis, Arkansas, Greta Watson of West Memphis, Arkansas and Leslie Sampley of West Memphis, Arkansas, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 2:00p.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas, with Brother Gary Andrews officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
