Barbara's Obituary

Barbara (Mathes) Miori, age 72, of Pensacola, FL passed away on January 1, 2014. She was born in Andrews, NC on July 15, 1941.Barbara enjoyed the beach. She missed dancing and cooking from scratch. Barbara had just begun learning a little sign language.She was very fond of her sister, Loria, who had so faithfully cared for Barbara over the past 16+ years.Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond August Miori and her brother, Jerry Wade Mathes.Survivors include her loving son, Joseph Miori and daughter, Deanna (Miori) Zupko (Bernie); grandson, Austin Zupko; loving sister/long-time caregiver, Loria (Mathes) Druckenmiller; niece/doting caregiver, Kami Payne (Mike), niece, Kim (Mathes) Cheney (John) and niece, Michele Miller (Brian); great-nieces, Ciera Miller, Lauren (Cheney) Gentry (Corey) and Madison Payne (also Barbara?s ?personal manicurist?); great-nephew, Wade Hafke, Harrison Payne, Tyler Raymond Miller (Katerina), Jonathan Miller and Jacob Miller; great-great niece, Victoria Miller, great-great nephew, Cole Gentry and close family friend, Chad Spragis.Graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Holy Cross Cemetery with Pastor John Spencer of Coastline Calvary Chapel officiating.Barbara will be greatly missed by her family whom she left so many memories for.
