Barbara Mary Reed

 Barbara Reed age 87 of Peck  died December 2, 2024.  She was born in Midland,MI  to Paul and Katherine Sabarich.  Barbara married James Marvin Reed on June 21, 1954.

Barbara had worked at AMT Company for 20  years.  Barbara also kept a large garden and sold vegetables for many years.  She was a long time member of Melvin Baptist Church when she had been an active member.

She is survived by 7 children James, John, Andy (Holly), Jeff (Dora), Pat, Mary (Joseph) McLeod-DeSiena, and Holly (Richard) Suratt along with 18 grandchildren and several great great grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband James.

Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday December 12, 2024 at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Burial at a later date in Kalkaska.
