I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of Barb. I remember her as a grandma to me growing up. Brandi and Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you in this tough time.

My deepest sympathies to Barb's family. Barb is such a wonderful person, friend, mom, Grandma. I have some wonderful memories of Barb, Tom and Brandi and summers at Timber surf. Barb will be missed and always remembered in the best ways. Hold her memories dear and cherish the love she had for you.

Grandma, you are my best friend. There is now this giant empty hole I don't know how to fill. But I know you're up taking care of your great grand babies and singing them our song. Heaven took my best friend home. I miss you so much. I love you to the moon and back.

Barbara's Obituary

Barbara “Bobbi” Jane Stoliecki, age 69, of Manistee, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at her home. She was born May 14, 1945 in Grand Rapids, MI, daughter of the late John & Frances (Ream) Kuk. She was a graduate of Godwin High School. She also attended Grand Rapids Community College and Michigan State University. She married Thomas J. Stoliecki on October 1, 1976 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was a member of the American Legion Post #10 of Manistee and the Legion Post #76 of Ludington. Barbara enjoyed making Indian jewelry and attended Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Manistee. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother and enjoyed spending all her free time with her grandchildren. Survived by her husband Thomas J. Stoliecki; children, Gary Geyer Jr., Connie Farrell and Julie Geyer; 5 grandchildren, Keith Karwat, Brandi Clugston, Milina Farrell, Shanna Farrell & Ashley Geyer; siblings, Jim Kuk, John Kuk, Larry Kuk, Chris Snyder, and Rose Kuk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Hope Farmer. A funeral Mass from The Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Manistee with Rev. John McCracken celebrant. Cremation will follow the funeral Mass. Final interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Michigan with graveside services to be announced at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to her funeral Mass on Saturday. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
