Not sure what to say?

Dad. Many nights are spent going over and over the memories you and I made together. How lucky was I to be your daughter? I couldn’t have asked for a better dad. You made me who I am today, and your influence is seen in so many things I do. The most important lesson you taught me was how to love. Watching you love Mom helped me believe in never ending love and devotion. I miss you Dad. Until I see you again~ pumpkin

Bart you are always in our thoughts every time I go out and pass your house and see your name on the mailbox I just want to turn around and come and knock on you door and say put the coffee on we have to talk. I so miss that but I know you are happy and we are for you. Love and miss you. Amelia

When I think of Uncle Bart, I think of him singing in the balcony at a church in NY, someone who worked with children, an accomplished writer, a family man, and someone who loved God. He was a positive example, and for this I am thankful. You are, and will always be, loved. May everyone who had the fortunate opportunity to know and love him, find comfort and peace.

Over 45+ years, I called him Pappy, he called me Moose. We regarded each other as 'family'! He was kind, generous, loving and caring to family and friends. Diane & I are grateful we had the opportunity to visit with him at Edythe & Helen's wedding. We love him and he will be missed. The Martinez Family (Kris, Keith)

Bart was truly a gentle man in every aspect. He always had a smile and a kind word. He and Margo were a great couple to emulate. Heaven has a wonderful team. May his family find comfort in wonderful memories.

I met Bart many years, ago when he was doing his Administrative Internship. I don't remember which school though, I had been in so many. He was a gentle strength that eased everyone around him. Always with that warm genuine smile. Rest well Bart. You will be missed.

I was privileged to work alongside Bart in Central Office Administration and later as a fellow building administrator. He was friendly, humorous, yet serious when it came to his work. I read his book years ago (it's truly good!). In my retirement I have thought of him often. I know he is now sharing heaven with his love, Margo. RIP, Bart.

I worked with Bart for many years in Middle Country School District. He was a gentleman of great professionalism, knowledge, and love for his students and colleagues. He was always kind to me and I'll never forget his beautiful spirit. Rest in peace with your wife Margo.

Oh Bart, so glad we stopped to visit on the way to FL. We ALL had a wonderful evening and delicious dinner ... like the old times. We listened as you told your stories and loved every minute of that time with you, Edythe, and Helen. We'll keep our promise to visit Edythe and Helen every year. You are already missed. Peace my dear friend ... Margo is waiting. Love you always, your Bettina.

Obituary

Bartholomew's Obituary

My father passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and comfort. Helen and I were with him everyday during his month long illness laughing with him, learning from him, and gaining a better understanding of the man he was. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Margo, who I am sure greeted him at the gates of Heaven with loving arms and a beautiful smile. My father retired from Middle Country Schools many years ago, but I am sure there are many people in the community whose lives he touched and influenced in some way. My father was a great story teller, and published a novel called "Few Are Chosen". He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter and daughter in law Edythe and Helen Arioso, his sisters and brothers RoseMarie and Michael Caputo, Nancy and Anthony Imperato, Joseph and Annette Arioso, and many loving nieces and nephews. His is also survived by Robin Aceste and family, and Marie Klages and family.
