Not sure what to say?

Bart was an amazing man. He was kind, respectful and always listened. In 2005/2006 Bart welcomed me to his building and gave me a chance to help his residents. We also often chatted about our cycling journey. May you be with God and rest Bart.

Bart was a great friend and co worker an inspiration for all

Bart was one of the most amazing Executive Directors I had the pleasure of knowing. He always had a smile, and a moment to ask how it was going. He was genuine and truly cared about others, this was reflective in his staff of whom have been there many many years and the residents and their families who gave generous compliments of him. I will deeply miss seeing him walking the halls and engaging with others. I know I am a better person because of the example he showed of being an...

My deepest condolences to Bart's family, his loss is felt by the many lives he touched. I had the pleasure of working with him for 15 yrs. When I would call about work the topic would always stray from the original reason for the call, he always had something to say! I really enjoyed those calls most! His presence will be deeply missed. Sending prayers for God's comfort and peace.

My deepest condolences to Bart's family and to his Pacific Gardens' family at this time of great loss. I enjoyed working with Bart as an Ombudsman and on behalf of myself and my office I send my kindest regards to all of you at this difficult time.

To Bart’s family and team members, I was so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of one of the good guys. Bart and I started as Admins around the same time and I valued him as a colleague. He is someone I looked up to and who made me proud to be one of “us”... long term care professionals who truly want to make a difference. His void will be felt for a very long time. Rest well my friend.

Bart, you always listened and were so supportive for the past twenty-two years. You were kind, caring, and compassionate with residents and co-workers alike. You will always be remembered for everything you have done, and your passing was a tremendous shock to everyone. My condolences are extended to the VanderWal family. May you rest in eternal peace.

The VanderWall Family our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you. May the memories of Bart and the love of family surround all of you and give strength in the days ahead.
