Beatrice Cunningham Ashley

To everyone at Larchmont United Methodist Church, I must apologize. Bea spent several years as a member LUMC during the final years of her long life. In the rush of things we failed to mention that and we are very sorry for the error.

I met Beatrice 5 years ago at Larchmont Methodist Church when she lived in Norfolk. We would sit together during the services. I loved to hear her sing the old familiar hymns that she knew by heart. She had a lovely singing voice to match her beautiful spirit. In many ways, Beatrice reminded me of my own Mom whom I lost a decade ago. They both shared the same graceful and kind southern manners and presence. Her sweet soul will be missed.
