Beatrice's Obituary

Beatrice Ann Harralson, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025 at the age of 88.  

Born on January 31, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas to Georgia Ann Brumley and Charlie Alvin Cole, Beatrice was known for her feisty spirit, infectious personality, and unwavering kindness.

Beatrice married Ned Simul Harralson on January 1, 1981.  She enjoyed working with Ned at Sheppard Air Force Base for many years.  After retiring, she and Ned continued working together installing carpets and flooring.  Beatrice loved travelling and visiting with friends and family.  Later in life they frequently visited local lakes with their two dogs Lady Bug and Major by their side.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ned; daughters, Leigh Ann Atteberry, Marie Hogan, and Donna Wood; and stepson, Lesley Harralson as well as two brothers, and two sisters.

Beatrice is survived by her sister, Mary Evelyn Burns; stepson, David Harralson; stepdaughters, Candy Hankins and Pat Sexius; grandchildren, Jessica Gentry, Cari King, David Pauley, and Rebecca Voss; step-grandchildren, Amanda Hankins, Brandon Hankins, Cody Harralson, Kendra Harralson, Jordan Sexius, Justina Sexius, and Gavin Sexius; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  She is also survived by many friends and family, all of whom will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Beatrice's life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday September 20, 2025 at Burkburnett Memorial Park Pavillion in Burkburnett.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beyond Faith Hospice of Vernon, 3301 Wilbarger St, Vernon, TX 76384 in Beatrice’s honor.

Beatrice Ann Harralson will be remembered for her compassion, generosity, and the love she spread to those around her. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
