I will miss Ben's ever-present smile and positive attitude on everything and everyone he touched. He was an inspiration on all of us that had the great pleasure to have known him in any capacity. Rest well with the Angels, Ben.

Benjamin Edison Ewing Jr., age 91, of Bloomfield Twp., died October 3, 2016. He was born February 20, 1925 in Ocoee, Florida to Benjamin and Jessica (Terry) Ewing.Mr. Ewing served in the Army during WWII and retired from Rockwell International. He was a past president of the Senior Mens Club of Birmingham and he received the "Volunteer Extrodinaire" award from the Friends of the Bloomfield Twp. Public Library for his service.Surviving are his wife Julia (Bayreuther) whom he married December 21, 1949 in Albany, New York; children, Amy Ewing of Stamford, CT and Jeffrey Ewing of Birmingham; grandsons, Andrew and Benjamin.Private services will be held.
