Single Tree

I grew up in Gloucester and met the Higgins family through school and church when they moved to Gloucester. I came to know Ben and his wife, Nan, as Dad and Mom Higgins while friends with their children, especially their daughter, Sharon. Ben was a warm, loving gentleman with a great sense of humor. He was also a good cook, especially for breakfast and Christmas cookies. He gave good hugs. I loved him so much, and I will always remember him with that love. I will miss him, but I am happy to...

I always looked forward to seeing or hearing from Ben and you Nan. He always had a smile and was so kind. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the Higgins family. Been was a kind man vested in his family and community. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I would like to say that he was a great man and I will always remember him as a great father to his children and their friends.

A gentle soul who did acts of kindness for so many.

Ben was such a good friend to myself and my parents. He was always showing his support with acts of kindness. A gentle soul who always had a smile. I shall miss him.
