Prayers for the McHugh family. Benny was a treasure for the town of Electra. Such a nice man always helped in any way he will be missed

I’m so sorry for your loss of your sweet Dad (Benny McHugh). He was such a kind, gentle man and will be missed by so many. I personally remember staying one summer with the boys when Aunt Patsy was in nursing school. The love that both Aunt Patsy and Uncle Benny showed me has stayed with me my whole life. He’s always held a very special place in my heart, and I’ll certainly miss this amazing man. May thoughts and prayers are with y’all, and I pray God’s comfort to his loving family during...

In addition to being a great mentor to me during my formative years, Benny was a dear friend for over 60 years. I worked along side of him at Goldsmith’s and I witnessed first hand his special treatment of every customer that came in the drugstore. He provided great inspiration to me and many other young men that came under is supervision. He will be greatly missed by all. My prayers go out to Greg, Mark and your entire family. I hope that Benny’s many kind deeds and memories will give you...

As I read through Benny’s obituary, most of which I knew about him. He was a great guy with a smile that could light up a room and make the darkest days bright and that’s what I remember most about him. He reflected the love of Christ toward me anytime we would meet. He showed me how important it was to treat everyone you meet with dignity and respect! My prayers for the family, may God wrap you in His mighty arm and Benny has claimed his victory in Jesus. Rest in love a peace Benny!

Thank you for your military service

My deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. McHugh. I have the fondest memories of climbing over my back fence and walking down the alley to his restaurant to get a cheeseburger on many occasions as a child. He was a very nice man and I pray for the peace, comfort and strength of his love ones.

So very sorry to see this.t Goldsmith's as long as I can remember. And a huge loss for Electra. Rest in peace my friend.
