Bernadine Ann Fauls

I was so sorry to hear of Bernadine's passing. She was such a lovely, kind, and generous soul. I'll always remember her compassionate heart and sense of humor. Remembering her fondly.

I have fond memories of Bernadine when I lived next to her in The Cayuga Apts- 100 W Buffalo St. I remember spending the day at her lovely Apartment watching the funeral of Lady Diana. She was always alot of fun, kind, caring, and pleasant. It was always a nice time gathering for wine, cheese/ crackers. We reconnected when she was at Beechtree for rehab a few yrs back.

“Aunt B” has been an inspiration throughout my adult life. She set the bar high for being selfless, caring and gracious. Mathematicians to misfits really made me smile as it was so true. In so many ways she carried on the traits established by her mother Kate. Prayers to the entire Fauls and Paolangeli clans. Celebration of a wonderful life lived is the order of the day.

For almost 50 years, Bernie has been a special person in my life. I fondly remember when we met at Ithaca High School where I served as a guidance counselor in 1974. Regardless of where my travels took me, she and I remained in touch. Whenever I visited Ithaca, I stayed at her home. Bernie always made me chuckle when she’d open the drawer in her kitchen that contained menus from all the eateries and ask: What would you like to eat? I will miss our conversations, her wit, honesty, and sage...

Bernadine was a special lady, devoted Catholic, with a bit of Irish twinkle in her eyes. She always was a gracious hostess who made me feel welcome and valued.
