I'm so sorry for your loss. I just heard of your father's passing. He was a great neighbor. May he rest in peace.

Prayers for eternal, risen life for Bernard and strength and prayerful sympathy for his family. I am sorry that I was not able to attend the Wake and be at the funeral. Know that my prayers are with all of you.

I was privileged to have known Bernie Gaseor for many years. In the summer of 1969, Bernie got me a job in the loading crew at Wendnagel Iron Works where he worked as shop foreman. That experience was memorable for me, and added to the great work experiences of my life. Bernie’s presence in that iron worker’s shop was extraordinary. I’ll never forget that summer, and I’ll never forget Bernie. He was a great guy.
