Bernard Lorenza Williams, II
Bernard Lorenza Williams, II, was born on Wednesday, February 16, 1972, to Bernard Lorenza Williams, Sr., and Ruby Mae Taylor Williams.
Bernie, as he was lovingly called by his family and friends, graduated from Hamilton County High School in Jasper, Florida. He furthered his education by attending cullinary school in Ft. Lauderdale. Bernie worked for a number of years as a sous chef for Capital City Country Club in Tallahassee, Florida.
In 2001, Bernie married the love of his life, Cynthia Dupree. Upon obtaining his CDL license, Bernie started a career as a semi-truck driver. Bernie was a very lovable and caring person.
On May 5, 2024, Bernie answered his master’s call. The fond memories of Bernie will be forever cherished by his wife, Cynthia Dupree Williams; mother, Ruby Mae Williams; son, Brandon Williams; stepsons, Tyrone and Antonio (Sheronica) Dupree; grandchildren, Antonio, Jr., La’Ronnie, Tyreyon, Tylajah, Ty’Chon, Amari, A'Zhiley, and Amir; sister, Nicole Williams; father-in-law, Jessie James Dupree; sister-in-law, Teresa Dupree (Antwoine) Aikens; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Pamela) Dupree; special friend, Victoria Givens; and other relatives and friends.
Bernie was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Lorenza Williams, Sr.; step-son, Ronnie Dupree; and his mother-in-law, Lillie Joyce Dupree.
Viewing/Visitation will be 11am - 11:45am, FRIDAY, May 24, 2024@ Greater Love Church of God In Christ (524 East Orange Avenue; Tallahassee, FL 32301)
Funeral Service will be at 12pm, FRIDAY, May 24, 2024@ Greater Love Church of God In Christ (524 East Orange Avenue; Tallahassee, FL 32301)
INTERMENT immediately following the funeral service, FRIDAY, May 24, 2024@ Eastside Cemetery (White Springs, FL)
