Graveside Services for Bernardo Cortez, Jr. 72, of Houston is scheduled for Friday March 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Cemetery Westheimer 12800 Westheimer Rd in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Hernandez Funeral Home 800 Fourth Street in Rosenberg. A Prayer Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Cortez was born June 22, 1942 in Tamaulipas, Mexico and he passed away March 23, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Maria Martinez Cortez. He is survived by his sons Bernardo R. Cortez, III and his wife Nancy; George Cortez; his brothers Marcos and Alexandro Cortez; his sister Elva Cortez; his grandchildren Noemi and Armando Cortez along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
